Casa de Magdalene (House of Magdalene) is all about handcrafted products, unique and timeless, made in workshops in little villages and down backroads and hidden ways. Made with passion and old fashioned skills, each bears the mark and care of the human hand that made them.

The inspiration behind this venture stems from my grandmother who taught me to prize old-world craft and the simple beauty of a fine object. Nan was my tower of strength and synonymous with this is the meaning behind the name Magdalene which is Aramaic for tower. 

With an extensive background in the travel and homeware industries, I found a longing to go exploring off the beaten track looking for hidden treasure, and I want to share my finds with you!

It is a privilege and a pleasure to go searching for what the heart desires. I hope that you take as much joy in your piece as I did in its find.
